Domaine Fourrier is based in Gevrey-Chambertin, in the heart of the Cote de Nuits, Burgundy. The estate covers approximately 9 hectares and is led by winemaker Jean-Marie Fourrier, specialising in Pinot Noir. Notable vineyards include Clos Saint-Jacques, Griotte-Chambertin, Combe aux Moines, Les Goulots, Chambertin and Gevrey-Chambertin Vieille Vigne.
The origins of Domaine Fourrier date back to the 1930s, when Fernand Pernot began assembling vineyard holdings in Gevrey-Chambertin. The estate later became known as Pernot-Fourrier before Jean-Claude Fourrier expanded its holdings across Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny and Vougeot.
Jean-Marie Fourrier joined the family estate after gaining experience in Oregon and working alongside the legendary Henri Jayer, whose philosophy of vineyard expression continues to influence his approach today. Since taking over the domaine, he has refined the style towards elegance, purity and transparency, establishing Domaine Fourrier as one of the most respected names in modern Burgundy.
